Imposing, essential and mighty: three adjectives to describe this fundamentally military castle, dating back to the end of the 14th century. The interiors of the fortress – overlooking the village - are embellished with decorated windows, doors and monumental mantelpiecetopped fireplaces (some of the largest existing), as well as a magnificent flying buttress-type staircase, leading to the upper floors. Every year, the castle's salons fill with life once again on the occasion of the Historic Carnival, with its combination of history and legend. It is possible to host meetings or exclusive dinners up to 100 people in one or two rooms.
